JAVSnap.com respects the intellectual property rights of others. We respond to notices of alleged copyright infringement that comply with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act of 1998 ("DMCA") and similar laws in other countries.
1. How the Site works
The Site indexes information about Japanese adult video titles. Video files are not stored on our servers; playback and downloads are provided by third-party hosting services. When we receive a valid notice, we remove or disable the infringing titles, players and links on the Site. To have the file itself deleted, please also contact the host that stores it.
2. Filing a notice
If you are a copyright owner, or authorized to act for one, and believe that material on the Site infringes your copyright, send a written notice that includes:
- your physical or electronic signature;
- identification of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed;
- the exact URL(s) on JAVSnap.com of the material you want removed;
- your name, postal address, telephone number and email address;
- a statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent or the law;
- a statement that the information in your notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the owner or authorized to act on the owner's behalf.
We usually process complete notices within 3 business days. Incomplete notices may be delayed or may not be processed.
3. Counter-notice
If you believe material was removed by mistake or misidentification, you may send a counter-notice that includes:
- your physical or electronic signature;
- identification of the material that was removed and the URL where it appeared;
- a statement, under penalty of perjury, that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed by mistake or misidentification;
- your name, address, telephone number and email address, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the appropriate court and will accept service of process from the person who sent the original notice.
4. Repeat infringers
Where appropriate, we will close the accounts of users who repeatedly infringe the rights of others.
5. False claims
Under the DMCA, anyone who knowingly makes a materially false claim in a notice or counter-notice may be liable for damages. If you are unsure whether material infringes your rights, please seek legal advice first.
